Judicial Watch Senior Attorney to Testify about the Voting Rights Act

Judicial Watch announced that Senior Attorney T. Russell Nobile will provide testimony tomorrow, May 27, before the House Committee on the Judiciary’s Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties during a hearing titled “Oversight of the Voting Rights Act: A Continuing Record of Discrimination.” The hearing concerns legislation that would dramatically increase the role of the federal government, specifically the Justice Department, in overseeing elections.
